We bought this for our granddaughter who is two. She loves it! The Catch Me Kitty is very well made and quite sturdy. It’s big enough that she can carry it around without it being too heavy. The little balls that come with it are the perfect size for her to handle. She loves chasing the kitty and trying to put the balls in the kitty’s mouth. The River Thames, known alternatively in parts as the Isis, is a river that flows through southern England. It is the longest river entirely in England and the second longest in the United Kingdom. Between Cricklade and Teddington, there are many weirs which were built to provide millponds for watermills; these include Clifton Hampden Mill, Osney Mill and Radcot Mill. There are also a number of locks which were built to allow barges to navigate their way around obstacles; these include Benson Lock, Cleeve Lock, Rushey Lock and Shiplake Lock.
The Lower Thames below Teddington is tidal and flows through London. This section is divided into two parts by an artificial flood barrier known as the Thames Barrier which was constructed in 1982 to protect London from flooding caused by storm surges from the North Sea. The section upstream of the barrier is known as “the Tideway” and includes such major landmarks as Tower Bridge, Westminster Bridge and London Bridge; it also includes some of London’s most popular tourist attractions such as Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre and Tate Modern. At Southend-on-Sea in Essex, the Thames estuary joins with another major river, the River Medway. The combined river then flows southeastwards towards Sheerness before entering into Kent where it becomes known as “the Swale”. The Swale flows eastwards towards Faversham before emptying into the North Sea via Whitstable and Herne Bay.
